Approach

Our focus is completely on the needs of our clients. During the proposal development stage, we meet with potential clients to exchange information, provide ideas, and establish objectives and expectations for the web application, as well as the linkage between the web application and the organization's offline activities and overall mission.

When Interstice Networks is awarded a project, we immediately map out a precise timetable with all the relevant milestones, and assign duties to application developers and the project manager. We also work with the client to develop quantifiable measures to track the success of the project, post implementation.

During the development phase, our project manager normally meets personally with the client every other week, in order to gain feedback on our prototypes and to communicate the exact progress of the project. Clients also have access to a private area within the Interstice Networks main site, so that these meetings can include client staff who may be in remote locations. There will always be new ideas and modifications to the original scope, and Interstice Networks strives to remain flexible and accommodate such changes.

Post implementation, we work in conjunction with our clients to promote the success of our projects. Web applications are inherently dynamic, and it is crucial that clients devote sufficient resources to keeping content fresh, introducing new features, and maintaining contact with users via the e-channel. We design our applications to be maintainable by clients with minimal technical knowledge, and stand ready to support them on an ad hoc basis. Alternatively, clients may engage Interstice Networks to perform these tasks on a fully outsourced basis.
